My workshop is on the second floor of an historical Genoese building named “Casatorre in Sottoripa”.
Black slate and marble on the floors, frescoed vaulted ceiling, bridges and sound posts casually hanging from imposing beams, a mixed perfume of wood and resins contribute, visitors say, to make this place a welcoming one full of old-feel fascination.
I share the place with Pio Montanari (http://www.montanariviolins.com/), master luthier, assistant curator of Paganini’s violin, the famous “Cannone”, for over 30 years.
In the future we will try to increase further our skill to satisfy the needs of students, professionals as well as performer
